Gavito Tango Festival proudly presents the world premiere of GARUFA: Tango Showtime—a spectacular Broadway-style Argentine tango production coming to the magnificent Gold Room at the historic Biltmore in downtonw Los Angeles.
For one unforgettable evening, the Gold Room will be transformed into an intimate theater filled with world-class dancing, powerful live music, romance, elegance, drama, and the unmistakable soul of Buenos Aires.
GARUFA brings together seven extraordinary tango couples, including four World Champion couples, a living legend of Argentine tango, and two internationally acclaimed couples. A live tango singer and the Sonder Tango Orchestra will complete this extraordinary theatrical experience.
This is more than a tango performance. It is a journey through the music, culture, passion, and artistry of Argentine tango—created for tango dancers, festival guests, friends, families, the Los Angeles community, and anyone who would love to experience tango for the first time.
