Cancellation & Refund Policy (Updated for 2026)
Refunds Before July 31, 2026
If you cancel on or before July 31, 2026, you may choose:
• Full refund minus a $25 processing fee, or
• Request a rollover to the next year (case-by-case approval)
After July 31, 2026
Starting August 1:
• No refunds
• No guaranteed rollovers (case-by-case only)
Pass Transfers
You may transfer your pass to another person at no extra charge.
Deadline to submit a name change: September 25, 2026.
MULTIPLE TICKET POLICY
You may purchase as many tickets as you’d like.
If you are buying for friends, family, or a group, you are fully responsible for sharing each individual ticket and QR code with the correct person.
Your Responsibility as the Purchaser:
• Distribute each QR code to the person who will use that ticket
• Make sure everyone in your group receives their own QR code
• Remind them to save it to their phone before arriving
At Check-In:
✔ Every person must show their own QR code
✔ If someone does not have their QR code and is not listed in the system, we cannot let them in
To Avoid Any Issues:
• Send each QR code immediately after purchase
• Double-check that everyone saved it on their phone
• Everyone must have their QR code ready to scan at the door
For 2026, all seminars will be first-come, first-served with a maximum capacity of 90 participants.
No RSVP is required.
We recommend attending with a partner for the smoothest experience.
However, if you don’t have a partner, you can still attend.
To support all solo dancers, we will have:
• Extra volunteers to help with partnering during class
• Dance Assist Volunteers (leaders & followers rotating as needed)
• Dance Hosts available for a fee if you want guaranteed partnering
Our team will monitor each seminar to keep the experience balanced, organized, and enjoyable for everyone.
Space is limited at all festival events, and if an event is sold out, there will be no ticket sales at the door. We strongly encourage you to purchase advance tickets.
Hotel reservation details and the discounted booking link for Gavito Tango Festival 2026 will be released in January or February 2026.
Please do not call the hotel yet — the group block is not active.
We will update this section once the hotel finalizes everything.
Currently, there are no health restrictions in place relating to COVID-19. The rules for the festival regarding COVID-19 may change, at the Organizer’s sole discretion, depending on the public health situation and mandates regarding COVID-19 issued by the U.S. Government, State of California and/or Los Angeles County at the time of the event.
